The Pharmacy is situated in the Swarg Ashram area of Rishikesh, which is traditionally associated with scholarly works and great Ayurvedic healers, teachers of Yoga, and Meditation.

Rishikesh is one of India's holiest towns, based on the banks of the sacred Ganga in the foothills of Garhwal and is considered the ' Gateway to the Himalayas'. It is also the starting point for the pilgrimages to the four dhams of Uttarakhand - Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri.

It has been the centre of spiritual learning, the chosen venue for the practice of the most esoteric of Hindu religious practices from before recorded history. It has numerous temples and ashrams where religious training is imparted to acolytes and laity, alike. Meditation here is believed to lead one to salvation.
